American Roller is a mid-level industrial manufacturing company heavily engaged in web processing.
We are a direct manufacturer of roller cores, covers, and coatings used in over 50 markets.
American Roller has 8 US sites and international presence.
Position Description The Customer Service Representative is a key member of the sales and marketing organization within American Roller.
This position is part of a cross-functional team that is paired with individual Account Managers and territories to represent the entire sales capability of American Roller.
This position is multi-faceted and spans the range of providing technical quotations for purchase, order management procedures for contract execution, and personal one-on-one contact with customers via phone, email and potentially visits to maximize the Customer Experience in working with American Roller.
In doing so, the Customer Service Representative is making important business decisions with respect to pricing, discounts, and approvals with respect to quotes and orders.
Essential Functions:
Support Account Manager(s) so they spend more time prospecting new projects and prospects Generate pricing based on Account Manager RFQ, email, or verbal transfer of information from Account Manager, customer, or prospect.
Follow up on quotes and target accounts in combination/support of Account Managers Development of relationship within team account base Part of sales and marketing process (i.
e.
email marketing campaigns) Enter opportunities over $10K in Salesforce and work with the salesperson to close order Drive delivery of customer care:
questions on transportation (pickups); order status Experience 2 years of Customer Service experience in manufacturing preferred.
Experience reading blueprints preferred.
